WOMEN IN ENGINEERING
Towards more diversity in engineering

High School Students

If you would like to connect with current engineering students, learn about events we have that you might be interested in, or access mathematics and physics tutoring

Teachers & Careers Advisors

If you are helping prospective engineering students, we have a number of outreach programmes that we can bring to your schools. If you are out of Auckland, we can offer a version of these services virtually.

University Students

If you are a current female engineering student, we have a number of resources for you, that are offered via our student-led Women in Engineering Network

What is our vision?

To contribute positively to the world, by increasing diversity within the engineering profession and giving high school students the confidence that they can succeed here too.

We believe women who do engineering can have a significant role in shaping the future of our world. The Faculty of Engineering has set an ambitious goal to increase our number of women studying engineering to 33% in Part I. To achieve this, we are looking forward to your input, contributions, and support to raise awareness of where engineering can take women. We’ll be leading outreach initiatives in the community, in-reach on our campus, and partnering with our sponsors to engage with future engineers and leaders in the STEM industry.
