International Women in Engineering Day

The 23rd of June is International Women in Engineering Day (INWED). In the past, we’ve celebrated with a panel of motivating speakers alongside a breakfast. We’ve organised an evening event with nibbles and round table discusssions. In 2024, we built our future city with Aurecon and Diversity Agenda. Register to join in and unleash your creative ideas!
Enginuity Day

We really enjoy hosting so many of you at Enginuity Day in July every year! It is a great opportunity to meet other self-identifying female students interested in STEM and learn more about the applications of engineering in hands-on workshops showcasing different specialisations.
Engineering: Her Student Experience

A fun and information evening with presentations and discussions from women in engineering students in each of our 10 specialisations. Learn about what life will be like as an Engineering student and Q&A.
Holiday Camp

A three day camp for Year 11 self-identifying women 💃️ to really help answer what ‘is’ engineering? 🤔 Spoiler alert: 🚨 you’ll find it everywhere! Students will get hands-on experience 🫶 from real-life experts within the field 👩🔬, with a special focus on sustainability 🌱💚. Parents welcome to join!
Academic Mentoring
Exam Revision Hubs

Are you sitting any Level 2 or Level 3 Calculus and Physics NCEA Externals this year? Want to get some intensive revision done in a welcoming and friendly place? During the Term 3 holidays we are running in-person sessions on campus at University of Auckland for Level 2, and virtual sessions for Level 3 across all the externals. You can attend as many sessions as you wish. The sessions will include some light snacks, and the option to stay on to learn more about Engineering at UoA!

Online Tutoring

If you would like to chat about what you’re learning in class, get some extra help with assignments, or find out what engineering is like, you can book in a 20 minute or 45 minute long virtual session with one of our tutors.
